Steve Tofte is the founder and driving force behind M&D Hauling, a full-service junk removal and cleanout company serving Sacramento, El Dorado, and Placer Counties.

After a 20-year career in the tech industry as a production manager in semiconductor manufacturing, Steve stepped away from corporate life to build something that truly reflected his values: a business rooted in family, integrity, and local service.



Today, with nearly a decade of hands-on experience, Steve leads one of the most trusted junk removal companies in the region, helping clients tackle everything from single-item pickups to large-scale commercial cleanouts.
